We will be sending 15 students from King/Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science, Los Angeles, CA on a 4-day immersive cultural explosion in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The students have been participating in IMANI workshops that break down boundaries that are defined by race, gender, and socioeconomic status through exposure to new experiences, concepts, and ways of thinking. This travel experience will be a capstone for our students, giving them an opportunity to stretch out of their comfort zones and return to their communities as world citizens.
